A reliable laptop running Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), equipped with stable USB ports, a fast processor, and a hardwired internet connection (avoid Wi-Fi during the actual download process if possible). Software Requirements
With your PC prepared, your subscription active, and your hardware connected, you are ready to begin the flash process. Phase A: Vehicle Preparation Follow the prompts to install the core application
Use a dedicated Automotive Programming Power Supply / Battery Maintainer (e.g., Clore Automotive PL6200 or Schumacher INC100).
The application will display the current software part number/calibration ID inside the module and cross-reference it with the factory database. Download and install the application onto your Windows PC

For ECU replacement scenarios, note that the J2534 generic scan tool user must follow associated Technical Service Bulletins for any additionally required steps. TSB information can be found on the TechAuthority Online website. A critical point: the new J2534 application supports routine and key programming functions only on 2010 and newer vehicles. For older vehicles, these functions may require a dealer-level tool such as the DRB III.
